Sunday I ended up in the Emergency Room. I has having severe cramping all day. I called the on call nurse at Woman's Health and she told me to go to the ER. We showed up at the ER about 4:30. It didn't take long for us to get a room. They were pretty quick with things on Sunday. I was suprised. We got our room and a nurse came in to take blood and get an IV started. The poor nurse was having a hard time getting one started. I kept bruising up. She tried 3 times before she got one. She ended up using my hand. OUCH! After that was all done, the Dr. came in and asked some questions. She feared that this might be a tubal pregnancy. But after an ultrasound, it showed that the baby was fine and was where he/she should be. The ultrasound did show that I have some "micro-lesions" on my cervix. I was told they would go away with time, but meanwhile I will be in a little bit of pain. We weren't able to have any pictures from the ultrasound. But Chris and I were able to see the screen and see the baby and the heart beat. I wanted to cry! It was very exciting. And of course, at the time, we still didn't know the results. It was a very stressful day. We're very lucky that everything went as well as it did.
Below is a picture of me, and my belly at 10 weeks. YAY! Not too much yet, but I notice a difference. LOL!
