A Small Update
Vance's skin is looking much better. It's starting to clear up pretty good. He had a big day yesterday. We started out at the shop. Grandpa Gene's dog needed a grooming job. We left and went to meet Chris's family for lunch at Bottoms Up. Vance was passed around and got too see all the family. About 3 o' clock, Gina and Mike came down from Maryville and visited with us. We went shopping at Target. I bought his Easter outfit. I can't wait to see it on him. After Target we went to eat at Cheddars. About the time we were being seated, Vance woke up from his nap and started to get fussy. Luckily we were seated in a corner booth and I was able to nurse him. After leaving the restaurant, we went over to Uncle JP and Jamie's house. We watched a movie and headed home about 11pm. I was very tired from a long day out. Vance woke up about midnight, ate, then went back to sleep.
Today we went for a walk in the nice weather. Chuck and Cara joined up for our walk. We walked a little bit down Ashland Ave. We had to turn around after a block or two because of the snow on the sidewalks. I plan on buying an all terrain stroller asap.
This was from Friday. I was home trying to do some laundry and Vance wanted attention too. So I did both. :)
Vance got a big boy bath this morning. He really liked being down in the water.

Dr. Appt
We though Vance had an ear infection. I found a yellow discharge coming from his ear the other night. We took him to the doctor the next morning. It's not an ear infection. It's a type of cradle cap. He's on medicine for his ear. He's got some dry spots on his head. But it's mainly his ear that is being effected. The skin part of his ear is very dry and cracked in a few places. The cracked places are where the discharge is coming from. But for the most part, we've got it under control. He's been a trooper so far. It doesn't seem to be bothering him.
He's sleeping through the night now for about a week. It's been great. He goes to bed about 11pm and wakes up around 7am. My little man is growing up so fast. :)
He was weighed the other day at the Dr's office. 12 pounds!!! He fits in 3 month old clothes. They fit him very well. I bought a few more shirts yesterday at wal-mart. I'm able to find clothes that aren't just blue. It's excited being able to buy outfits for him. I like shopping for him way more than shopping for me, haha.
I finally got some more pictures to share! Enjoy!

A much needed update
So much time has gone by! I haven't had a chance to get online and blog for a while. I'm down at the shop today and have full internet access. So here you go...
Vance's big Dr. appt was Jan. 28th. Dr. Brownfield was very happy with his health. He continues to gain weight. He weighed 10 lbs 3 oz. And that was last Monday! I can't wait to see how much he's gained by his 2 month appt. He had to have an ultrasound on Monday also. They were a bit worried about a possible hernia. Everything checked out to be fine. It was just a little bit of fluid build up. If you want to know the whole story, I"d be happy to tell it. But it's a bit personal to put on here, lol.
His sleep habits aren't getting any better. We though he was getting the hang of it. 2 nights in a row he slept almost 7 hours. But he's back to every 2 hours. I'm hoping he get's in a better schedule before I return back to work in March. Otherwise he's been a pretty good baby. We've been fighting colic. I have to watch VERY carefully what I eat. I'm on a meat and potatoes diet. And I can't have chocolate! It's killing me, lol. I love chocolate. But I guess it'll help me get back into shape.
We visited Great Great Grandma Lu last week. It was a very nice visit. Aunt Saretta got to give him some attention too. We hope to get a 5 generation picture soon. I do have a picture of Grandma Lu and Vance to share today. I have a few other pictures.
Vance got to "see" his first dog show live last weekend. He slept through the whole thing but it's nice to know the barking and other dog noises didn't bother him. I do have a funny story about our day at the dog show. Before we even went inside, I wanted to make sure he had a full belly and a clean diaper. Soooo, I sat in the back seat of the car and fed him. That went well. Chris and I were able to see quite a few dogs come and go from the civic arena. After feeding him, I had to arange myself in the back seat of the car to change his diaper. If any of you know what we drive, it's a 2 door Monte Carlo. The back seat is not very accomidating for this kind of thing. Just as I get his dirty diaper off, he poops. The angle I was sitting towards him, the poop shoots up my arm all over the sweather I was wearing. Chris and I couldn't do anything but laugh about it. Chris's comment was, " I guess we should put some shout wipes in the diaper bag". Luckily I was able to clean myself off before going inside. But that will be one diaper changing memory I won't be able to forget.
Anyways, here are the pictures I have...
